His Heart Still Wept After All These Years is a tribute to my grandfather, John, who outlived my grandmother, Joy.

They spent a lifetime together, building something beautiful. After she passed, he kept a box filled with her treasures—poems, articles she had written, photographs, and his own words about her. When I visited, he would pull out the “Joy Box,” as he called it, and reminisce about their love.

Seeing how deeply he missed her broke my heart—but it also made me long for a love that enduring, one that lingers in every memory, every keepsake, every quiet moment after they’re gone.
