In a world that moves too fast, art invites us to pause. My India Ink and Watercolour Workshop at Studio Mooi is designed to quiet the mind, hush the inner critic, and bring peace through creativity.

Through guided demonstrations and hands-on exercises, you’ll explore techniques that encourage play, introspection, and freedom of expression. Whether you’re new to painting or a seasoned artist, this workshop is a space to let go, experiment, and find stillness in the process.

The Textured Canvas: Mixed Media Workshop

Coming Fall 2025

Join me for a 3-hour hands-on workshop where we’ll explore the art of building dimension, meaning, and emotion through mixed media.

Using a 6x6 canvas as your base, you’ll experiment with a wide range of materials—from acrylic paint, oil pastels, paper, and embroidery thread to tea leaves, found objects, and treasured keepsakes. I’ll guide you through the techniques I use in my own practice to create richly layered, tactile pieces that tell a story—your story.

Whether you bring symbolic items, memorabilia, or simply follow where the materials take you, you’ll walk away with a unique piece of artwork to proudly display or gift with love.

Alcohol Ink Workshop

Join me for a 2-hour workshop and learn how to throw caution into the wind for in this workshop there is no need to stay within the lines. this ridiculously fun form of art will have you ooo’ing and ahhh’ing all afternoon long!

Designed to provide you a safe and supportive space for play, relaxation and connection as you discover how you can create a masterpiece that is surprisingly easy and freeing. Alcohol ink is really about play and the creative process. You need very little ink to make a brilliant creation.

Expressive Watercolour Visual Journaling

This 2-hour workshop offers a safe space to check in with yourself daily through art, fostering creativity, confidence, and joy. With technical instruction, you’ll gain the tools and methods to engage in this practice with ease. The session includes a sensory meditation to deepen relaxation and strengthen the mind-body connection. In this supportive group environment, you’ll be encouraged to explore your inner world and embrace the daily practice of reflection through expressive art.

Intuitive Collage

Join me for a creative and reflective Intuitive Collage Workshop, where you’ll explore self-expression through the simple yet powerful act of selecting and arranging images. In this three-hour session, you’ll create up to two unique collage pieces, guided by your intuition.

Once your compositions take shape, I will introduce techniques for adding personal touches using ink and paint, helping you bring depth and character to your work.
