A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

I’m a Toronto-based queer mixed media artist, activist, and mother.  I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. Art has been my lifeline—a way to self-regulate, navigate life’s challenges and define myself. It has served as both a tool for growth and a form of medicine in moments of weakness, guiding me toward deeper self-understanding. Through my work, I continue to explore, heal, and connect with the world around me. My pronouns are she/they.

I discovered my unique style by breaking the rules—layering unconventional materials, embracing imperfection, and defying tradition. My work blends whimsy with quiet resistance, weaving subtle political themes and reflections on mental health to spark conversation and challenge the status quo.

As an activist, I’m passionate about animal welfare, LGBTQIA+ liberation, and gender equality. Through my art and community work, I advocate for marginalized groups, spark dialogue, and foster connection—believing true freedom comes from standing together.

ABOUT MY PROCESS

My Work

I approach my art with curiousity, embracing the unknown and allowing each piece to unfold naturally. My process is deeply intuitive—I let go of control, making space for the medium to guide me. Layering unconventional materials, exploring colour, shapes, and patterns, I trust that every mark has purpose. Mistakes become masterpieces, and my inner critic is invited to sit beside me, not as an adversary but as a companion in the creative journey. This philosophy extends to my workshops, where I encourage students to embrace play, let go of perfection, and trust their creative instincts.

Music is an essential part of my process, shaping the rhythm of my work and influencing its energy. It moves through me as I create, guiding my hand and deepening my connection to the piece. Breath is another constant—grounding me, keeping me present, and allowing my intuition to lead the way. Art is more than an act of creation; it’s a modality for growth, a medicine when I feel weak, and a mirror that helps me uncover who I truly am.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Representation

I do not currently have an agent, as I prefer to manage my own artistic journey. However, I am always open to new opportunities and collaborations that align with my values and creative vision. If you’re interested in representing my work or discussing potential partnerships, please feel free to reach out. I’m excited to connect with those who share a passion for art, activism, and positive change.

Workshops

I facilitate intuitive and expressive creativity workshops both in-studio and in people’s homes, offering a safe space to explore, play, and connect through art. With a background in mindfulness teaching, I incorporate breathwork and relaxation techniques to help students let go of perfection and trust their creative instincts. I also offer 1:1 art sessions, guiding individuals to overcome fears and use art as a tool for healing and self-discovery. Additionally, I host celebratory and collaborative art gatherings—perfect for bonding, creative expression, and honouring meaningful moments.
